The Student Experience
Launch orientation is all about you! We want to help ensure you feel comfortable and confident as you begin classes and this next exciting chapter here at Oregon State University. During your Launch session, whether in-person or virtual, you will learn about resources available to you at OSU, connect with faculty and staff here to support you, and build new friendships with incoming peers and student leaders, and so much more.
We are excited to get to know you and help you transition seamlessly into the OSU community!
Family & Supporters
We know your support system plays a big role in your transition and success at OSU. That’s why we offer several ways for families and supporters to stay connected and informed. Some of our Launch sessions include a Family & Supporter Track, and our Family Portal offers year-round access to resources, live virtual sessions, and discussion forums where families can connect with one another.
From college finances and housing to wellness and student support, we want your family to feel confident and connected as you begin your journey at Oregon State.
When available, registration for guest attendance is a part of the Launch registration process. Learn more about the opportunities and resources available to Families and Supporters.
Advice from an incoming Transfer Student in 2024: “Try to attend an in-person session, it really helped to see Corvallis, see the campus, and to have even just a slightly better idea of knowing where you are and where to find the campus buildings, food, activities, etc.”
