Launch Session Dates

Our Launch programs are designed to be flexible, engaging, and supportive as you prepare for your first term at OSU. Each term, program offerings vary to meet the unique experiences of our incoming students. Because Launch dates vary, be sure to review the section for your admit term to find your session options.

Spring and Summer Admit 2026 Launch Session Dates

Students can choose from one of two options to participate in Launch orientation:

In-Person Dates:

  1. Friday, March 20th, 2026

Virtual Dates:

  • Begins Monday, March 16th, 2026 and ends Sunday, March 22nd, 2026

Please note, if you are a Summer admit (this does not include Spring admits) we ask that you attend an in-person or virtual Launch session. If you do not attend any of the Launch dates listed above then you will participate in a summer Launch session.

Register for Launch

  Please note, you will not be able to register for a Launch session until 24-48 hours after you have completed Prepare.

Fall Admit 2026 Launch Session Dates

In-Person Dates:

  2. Friday, June 26th, 2026
  3. Tuesday, July 7th, 2026
  4. Thursday, July 16th, 2026
  5. Tuesday, July 28th, 2026
  6. Tuesday, August 4th, 2026
  7. Thursday, August 6th, 2026

Focused Launch Dates:

  • Date TBD: Black & Indigenous Student Success Connections (BISSC)
  • Date TBD: Off-Site Launch (in Oahu, Hawai'i)

Virtual Launch Dates:

  • Begins Monday, August 10th, 2026 and ends Sunday, August 16th, 2026
  • Begins Monday, September 7th, 2026 and ends Sunday, September 13th, 2026

Virtual Launch Details

Join us for our Virtual Launch, where you can connect with fellow students through discussion boards and Zoom conversations. You'll watch short videos and take part in interactive sessions that replicate the excitement and community spirit of our in-person events.

You can work through Virtual Launch asynchronously, but the experience also includes synchronous engagement options so you can still make connections with your community.
